About the next nxe update
Does anyone know if there is a website with a list of all the new stuff coming out, i.e like list of all the avatar items what games on demand games ect ??About the next nxe update

Games no one plays
Post The games that are not as popular as some and that are just as great.Games no one plays
I personally liked Stranglehold, dark sector, viking battle for asgard and viva pinata 2. No one really plays them at all haha. On wii I love excitebots but it only sold 13000 copies and it is one of the best arcade racers I have played this gen, that reminds me sega rally is great and no one plays it.Games no one plays
Online wise, Shadowrun and both Saints Rows. Single player, hardly anyone played The Darkness and Lost Odyssey, easily two of the best games made this gen.
I second The Darkness and Sega Rally Revo! Not only were they not very popular but nobody plays them online anymore. Pure is also a game not too many folks played. Sure it got good scores, but rarely is anyone online and I never hear anyone talk about it.
Darkness was a great game i agree but it wasnt promoted well enough for people to care

i know im in the minority but monster madness was actually fun to me. Im a sucker for any 4 player co-op shooters similiar to hunter the reckoning. i never care what the review ratings say
i personally think Skate 2 has a nearmassive following, well either that or the people whohave itlove it so much, o wait that was topic wasnt it?I havent played it but Dead Space is one.

I'm not gonna sit here and post all of them, but I do know a lot of Arcade games and could probably use more players. One game in particular I would like to find more challengers for is Super Puzzle Fighter 2 HD Remix, because I thinkthey did a great job with the game and I think I've only ever found anopponent to play once.I think challenging games like the Contras and Ikaruga, while they are games that really need players, turn gamers off a little bit because when they do play the games are just so tough that they end up quitting and don't bother coming back to the game again for a while.If anyone is into flight sims, there is one game I could recommend that they might not have thought to consider on LIVE - Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge - under the XBOX Originals games. To start off with, you get free access to all the game's downloadable content, and I'm pretty sure the game supports LIVE. It's a pretty fun dogfighting game, and I don't really think there is anything like it on Arcade. For the price, compared to any 360 flight sims that there might be, it is probably a pretty good deal to get this game.

Not as mush as CoD, yes, but at least there are no whiny six-year-olds who flock to fanboy-promoted-games. Because Im pretty sure 20 perent of teh people who play CoD, Halo, and even GoW are whiny 6-12 year olds. Fans of all those games, but really, 2o percent.The battlefield series has been a ''cult hit'' of gaming, thousands play them but they still dont get mainstreem media. Depends on the price and games available at the time. I mean Microsoft said that the xbox 360 will have a lifespan of 10 years(2015). The 360 will still be supported when the new xbox arrives, this if the new xbox arrives during that time, somewhere between 2012 and 2015. too soon to say anything at all
It all depends on when the good games will be coming out on xbox 360. Typically, most games at launch for any console are usually poor. I would like to wait until I see something I really like for the system like a new Elder Scrolls game or a new Fable game for example.
I don't really know that I want to spend money on games like this forever. I will always play games butI don't think I will ever put this much money into gaming again.

Hopefully we won't be seeing another Xbox for another few years, but when we do, this is the way I'll handle it: if it comes out in the first half of the year, buy it, if it comes out the second, ask for it for Christmas of birthday.
Until they stop making original 360 games. Or after I get bored with PC gaming... Which is never, so I will probably not buy it for a while because I'm sure there will be bad backwards compatibility again.
I hope I can buy it on day one. As soon as they make the announcement, I'll start saving so that I can preorder one.

Nice! :D how much the hardened edition? (is it just Limited Edition with a fancy name?)... and will there also be Single Player as well as Multiplayer? I was thinking of playing my PC Call Of Duty games sometime soon again as it's been a while... might just wait until end of the year then :D.
Hardened edition is 80 bucks, but the game will be released on XBLA and PSN on a later date for propbably 10 bucks. Its sort of like what they did for Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Boltes where if you preordered the game you'd get Banjo and Kazooie for XBLA early.
So is there a normal Limited Edition AND this Hardened Edition coming out? if so, what is the difference between the two? :). I think I definately want to get the Hardened Edition now... only problem is, I might get addicted to the original Call Of Duty once again and hardly play Modern Warfare 2... :P. Do you guys know if they are updating it at all? (health packs, online ranking system etc.)?

I put 100+ hours in to Call Of Duty games on the PC as well, but that was only when I was signed in to X-Fire (wow... haven't used that for years lol). Hardended Edition is your normal Limited Edition stuff just with fancy name. With Prestige Edition, which is $150, you get all this crap including IW Night Vision Goggles.I have no idea about the updating the orig CoD. They prolly will keep it the same. They may put in the regenative health (I dont want them too, destroys the feel of the good old days).
I thought it was a part of the Hardened and Prestige edition. Not a pre-order.

Hardened edition is 80 bucks, but the game will be released on XBLA and PSN on a later date for propbably 10 bucks. Its sort of like what they did for Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Boltes where if you preordered the game you'd get Banjo and Kazooie for XBLA early.
So is there a normal Limited Edition AND this Hardened Edition coming out? if so, what is the difference between the two? :). Hardended Edition is your normal Limited Edition stuff just with fancy name. With Prestige Edition, which is $150, you get all this crap including IW Night Vision Goggles.I have no idea about the updating the orig CoD. They prolly will keep it the same. They may put in the regenative health (I dont want them too, destroys the feel of the good old days).

is anyone else getting kicked off xbox live? It's been doing this to me ever since I bought a gold membership a few days ago, I'll try to play Call of Duty 5 Co-op and it kicks me off after I'm playing for a little while and then I have to sign back inxbox live randomly disconnecting?

As we all know, Left 4 Dead had : Smoker, Boomer, Hunter, The Witch and Tank. Have anyone heard of what we will be facing on our 2nd go around? If they havn't yet discussed this portion of the game, I would like to hear some creative new ideas from you guys.I'll start: The Hammer: Fast paced zombie with an enormous fist that is known for smashing faces apart. The Morph: Ability to change into any zombies (even the Left 4 Dead originals). Evil Gecko: having the ability to camaflauge and do stealthy kills. It sprays a toxic gas at survivors and it causes them to see infected everywhere(including special infected), even their partners will appear as the infected.I think it would be pretty funny to see survivors shooting at each other.

The End= Nemesis from RE3. I'd like to see something resembling The Thing from movie of the same name. Every saferoom they have to check blood samples to make sure none of them was replaced.

An idea that i had for one zombie was kinda like a grudge looking guy, i dont know what to call him but he would grab a survivor and pull him through a wall and i dont know if u guys seen pulse but when one of the people get sucked into the wall it would be funny to make it look like that. you would only be able to hold a survivor for like 6 seconds and have a reasonable cool down so they dont keep pulling you to the beginning, his other move would be like a fatigue move that makes you slow and vision blurry and weak when it comes to hitting zombies off of you :P so you would have to shoot ur way out.

They had a special zombie made for L4D1 called the screamer, a zombie in a straight jacket who you must shoot before it scream or it unleashes the horde. They canceled him though, maybe he will be in L4D2

Nothing is guaranteed. However, it looks to be a lot more fun then the 1st. Which is hard to top because the 1st one is amazing.

The only one we actually know of is the Charger like people have said. The camo one that you suggested sounds plausable. I think they may incorporate a smaller zombie maybe child or animal sized that would poison you. Instead of doing major damage quickly, it would slowly but surely kill you. If not that, then maybe the poison would slow you down, making it harder to keep up with the group. It would be like Anti-Pills. If I worked for Valve I would defenetly put this in, I would call it the Stinger.

I'm starting Oblivion up again, my second character, and I was quite interested in seeing if I could get the Honorblade of Chorrol early on, say... Level one? Haha. I know it's part of a three part string of quests, and the first one, reuniting the brothers, shouldn't be any trouble, but the following ones involve slaying Redguard Valley Ogres. I've played the game before, and wanted to try a different approach. It's not that bad either, and shouldn't make my game too easy unlike if I got Umbra, which is one of the best swords in the game. No. I had spent a lot of money upgrading my car but once it got destroyed, it was gone forever.

Fleshed out world. its great to be able to explore planets, have squad control, upgrade weapons, play fast paced shooting style, and upgrade your weapons and characters in tons of different ways.This is a game that is greater than the sum of its parts. its 15 buck used. go to gamestop you can keep a used game for two weeks. If you don't like it you can return it and get another game with the 15 bucks or pre-order something else.Whats so good about Mass Effect
It has very immersive gameplay for one thing. It has one of the best between-character dialogue systems ever created in a video game. It also has a really awesome story line, cool powers, and a lot of different environments to explore. I liked Mass Effect because it made me actually care about the characters I was playing with. You will sometimes be forced to choose which one of your team members lives, and which one dies.

It is an amazing RPG. The characters develop over time, you get to go on the hunt and learn about all the species and how they interact. You get to save the galaxy, that sort of stuff. You aren't going to get that in a demo.
Now, the demo did show you probably, how much you might like the combat... and if you can't stand it, that might be a reason NOT to play it. But if you have any WRPG love in you, I think you should at least get it and play though on Easy or Normal mode just for the RPG elements. Make sure to turn off the subtitles to add to the experience.
liking fallout 3 doesnt mean you'll like this, quite different, but i recommend trying it, it is a great game even if it takes about an hour to kick off properly

It's nothing amazing but the sequel will likely improve much of what was wrong with the first (driving, party member dialoge during missions, party interaction, make combat more fun and difficult, halfway decent inventory, fix bugs, better sidequest, varied worlds not part of the main story). If you plan to play the second playing through the first is also a good idea to get the backstory and to import your saved game for the second.

- Excellent combat(at least in my opinion)
- Long storyline
- Hours upon hours of side quests
- Squad combat/tactics
- Numerous ways to go through the story
- Upgrade your weapons and armor along with the weapons and armor of your squad
- Numerous worlds to explore
- DLC
- And lastly, it's made by BioWare. Honestly, it being made by BioWare is all you should need to know about a game before you buy it.

My xbox 360 repaired and shipped?
Soo i sent in my xbox on thrusday, and on the official website, on friday, it said they recieved it. then friday night they said it was repaired and being shiped back using PURO-AIR. i looked at the tracking details for it and it says

For me it was the physics. The way everything moved and the way your body would fly through the air when hit by a car, or how someone would become limp and fall down when hit in the back of the head with a bat. Loved it.One time i carjacked a taxi. I pulled the cab driver out and through him in the middle of the road but he didnt fall, suddenly a car came out of no where and ran him over causing him to do several flips before smashing into a lamp post. Everything.. Literally. There is not one aspect of the game i dont like. The bit that topped it all of for me though was the fact you could go online with up to 16 people and do anything you wanted. Exactly the same as story mode but without the missions. I honestly reckon if SR2 had a free mode with more than just 2 people then that game would be massive. Although it has its cheesy graphics and unrealistic driving it would still be a massive hit with all the' pimping' up rides and the fact you CAN get planes.

TFU was an ok game but it comes no where near the quality of KOTOR, you should definitely check it out providing you like RPG's.

The KOTOR games are great if you take the time to learn how the combat system works. The combat is less like TFU and kinda like the turn based system found in more traditional RPG's. Some people don't want to learn how to use it so they just say KOTOR is crap and refuse to play it. It's a shame because it's actually really simple.

first and formost i hate CAPs, i can't stand them because they give lesser gamers advantage that the normally wouldn't have with what the game gave them. I don't like to play CAPs (create a players) because no matter what anyone says their ''imaginary friends'' will always have unbelieable stats in some way shape or form. This leads to a mistake that shouldn't have been in the game after the patch, why in custom match settings u can no longer choose to have any weight class, rounds with UFC ONLY fighters. I don't wanna be force to fight those freaks and wannabes, I want dream match ups with the real fighters instead of fighting imaginary friends with max chin and ultimate reversals. It takes the fun right out the game, and if someone said u should jus make a CAP right back I don't want because like i clearly stated about my feelings of CAPs, i can't respect them nor do i think they should be involved in online unless they are in their own lobby or branch. they shouldnt be mixed in with the REAL fightersWhy did The UFC Patch eliminate the opti ...
As far as i know you can still set it to UFC only and any weight class. Also not everyone that uses CAF (not CAP) have over powered people. did the patch help alleviate lag in matches?that was the main reason why i never played ranked online, and the fact that i am rubbish at the game is another, but i would get on if they fixed the lag issues

As time premitts i got it for the ps3 but when i start school im getting it for the xbox. maybe the ps3 got shafted again, if u can go to custom and put any in weight class and put UFC only on the fighting preference from the jump then this justifies why im going to get rid of it for the PS3

Oh no, I love Zombie Nazi mode, it's the only reason I play that game anymore. While I wouldn't call it the BEST zombie game, it's one of my favorites.

Oh no, I love Zombie Nazi mode, it's the only reason I play that game anymore. While I wouldn't call it the BEST zombie game, it's one of my favorites.

but from what ive seen, either the recon armor or the rileys rangers armor
The vault 101 dress with armor.

Meh. All that is really helping to explain is that panicking doesn't help. hey im trying to put media center on to my 360 and it says to download and install media extender software but once i do it, it comes up wiht a message saying '' there is a problem installing media center extender to your computer please uninstall and reinstall the software, but i dunno how to uninstall it like i dunno where teh software saves, can anybody help me with this ( sorry if it sound snooby ) :smedia center on 360

When I had problems with it, I just turned off the firewall and it was fine. Although, it's not worth it. It only plays like two media types and is so horribly slow that it's just not tolerable. Better to just an iPod for music and your PC for videos :/

They have stated it will use a new engine instead of the outdated Halo 3 engine.Will they be pushing the system, and will MS help in anyway? I've heard this a lot and I was wonderng how you guys find it. I've also heard that it seems to put a bigger strain on your harddrive because I've heard that the game is done similar to Halo 3 in that it's optimized to load off the disc.I haven't tried it but it'd be nice to get an answer, I think I might just keep playing it uninstalled since it played perfectly before but I want to make sure.Does GTA IV run better uninstalled?

I saw both of these games, Ninja Blade %26 The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena for $10.00 at a Target in NY yesterday. Well, I have met at least two people on here each liked one of those games, and to find a game as new and as advertised as the two of them (Saw a lot of promotional stuff in gaming magazines) at this low of a price, it's a pretty good deal I think.
Dark Athena is a great game. I paid full price for it on release day. It's well worth picking up at that sale price.

I'd be in for Riddick at that price. Last time I checked my Target they only had the PC riddick for 30 and Ninja blade was 30 as well in the clearance section. I would pay no more than 5 for ninja blade, but 10 for riddick sounds good. Picked up FEAR 2 there a few weeks ago on clearance for 12. Great deal IMO

Dark Athena is a great game. I paid full price for it on release day. It's well worth picking up at that sale price.

If you have Operation Anchorage after the sim you will have been trained on it w/o going to the citadel.But karma does not matter, you can be any of the three and still recieve it.

Alright so I'm looking to go HD on the 360, and I found a great deal on a monitor, so I think I'm going to make the move, but I need some help and advice.The Situation: I live at college during the school year and home when vacation comes around. I have an HDTV in my room (bought by my mother for my brother) but it has bad input lag, so I ended up switching it out with a SDTV, at least while I'm at home. I want to game in HD, but the input lag was killing me. So I'm wondering if it's a good idea in this situation to go with a monitor. I have no other need for it other than gaming, seeing as I have a laptop. I may want to watch TV on it, don't have HD now or at school. May in the future, so I'm wondering what my options were in that aspect.The Monitor: It's a 23 inch Samsung, no speakers, 5ms response time. I'm going to hook it up with VGA cables, so I'm wondering if I do that, will i experience any input lag? The input lag is crucial to gaming in my opinion, so this is a big concern for me. I have speakers, they're decent, I'm not looking to be blown away by the sound. I may invest in headphones later anyways, so this isn't a concern at all.The Accessories: Should I trust eBay on this one? I'm seeing a bunch of VGA cables for 10 bucks or less. You guys think that is reliable at all? Should I be looking for Microsoft ones or will third-party VGA cables work the same? VGA Cable Question???
I have a 22 inch insignia lcd hdtv which has input lag, and I was told to try VGA cables to reduce this input lag. So I was wondering, does the VGA cable support 1680x1050 resolution? That's why the TV is and I heard you have to match the native resolution exactly to get rid of the input lag.VGA Cable Question???

Why All The Hate For TMNT: Re-shelled?
It makes me mad to read these reviews. I haven't even played the game, but if it is is the same gameplay as the orignal then it should be rated about 95/100. I don't understand what could possibly be bad about this game. It was one of my very favourites on Super Nintendo and I have so many great memories of having so much fun playing it with friends. I don't see any need to add anything new to it. The fact that is has updated graphics seems to be the only update it needs and is a great positive. How can they give Street Fighter 4 such great reviews when it is basically the same game as Street Fighter 2 with updated graphics, and give this game such poor reviews because it offers nothing new?!?! Its not so much that the game is bad so to say. It's actually pretty good for some nice co-op beat em up action. It's just what Ubisoft did was they took out all the stuff that made playing ninja turtles fun in my opinion. I know its hard to live up to a SNES/ Arcade classic like the original, but its the little things like no triple combo, clunky controls, the throwing mechanics, etc. Then you throw in the huge issues (in my opinion) like the extremely short story mode and just the terrible butchered music.I guess I expect too much considering this is one of my favorite original games all time. But I, among other fans were greatly dissapointed. New comers to the series may find it great, but in my opinion this game is nothing like its original counterpart.

Because the $10 is overpriced for an outdated genre. Beat em up games like Double Dragon, Final Fight etc have been dead since basically the mid 90's The last good beat em up games were Guardian Heroes for the Saturn and Panzer Bandit for the Playstation 1. $10 for a half hour to an hour's wroth of gameplay is inexcusable even for a downloadable title. True some games are outdated like Doom, Duke Nukem, 3d, and Wolfenstein, but those games are a benchmark for gaming. they only cost 5 dollars and they give you much more bang for your buck. It is shameful that MS was thinking about charging 15 dollars for this at one point when the Banjo Kazooie games offer much more for that amount. Even $15 for those games is pushing it when you can get Mario 64 for $10 on Wii and FF7 for $10 on PS3. You are letting nastalgia cloud your judgment.They tried to revive the beat em up genre on PS1 with Fighting force and Spawn and on PS2 with Bouncer and a couple other games. The genre is a waste nowadays.

Street fighter 4 is not the same game as Street fighter 2. Theyre very different in terms of combos, balancing etc
Beat em ups arent as popular these days and theres no beebop and rocksteady.
Remakes need updates. Look at the gamecube RE1

It is pretty awful, but still entertaining to some degree. It would have made a much better cell phone game IMO.

uhm i think in everyones op the SNES is better than the remake
I LOVE the original. it saddens me to hear such negative comments. I'll play the demo :P
there are 2 things that mad me mad. 1 is the took out one of my favorite stage inside the technodrome which would have been stage 4. The second is the narrator. i used to love the way they said the name off the stage. Now the way it is very meh at best. On the good note i did have alot of fun in the 4 player coop with friends of mine.
I got it, and beat it 4 times already. It only takes an hour to beat the game. They dumbed down the gameplay and made the levels REALLY short. It's nothing like the original.
BUT, I liked it nonetheless. All thanks to the survival mode. :)
I had a good time with this remake, but utterly disappointed in it also, the original SNES and Arcade versions are literally the best Turtles games ever made, but this remake took away from all that, for starters the updated graphics, control scheme, and gameplay just didn't do it for me, and didn't feel the same as the past versions.''Ubisoft, please consider a re-release or free patch to add the original versions of this game, I would have loved to play the SNES game remade or not.

Street fighter 4 is not the same game as Street fighter 2. Theyre very different in terms of combos, balancing etc
Beat em ups arent as popular these days and theres no beebop and rocksteady.
Remakes need updates. Look at the gamecube RE1

ok i was jus comparing this remake with my SNES copy and the truth is the SNES ver. is WAY BETTER!!! the art style, music and controls are way better on snes

It is pretty awful, but still entertaining to some degree. It would have made a much better cell phone game IMO.

The classic music and voices or sounds for that matter were awesome compared to this new stuff.But anyway it is just peoples opinions. uhm i think in everyones op the SNES is better than the remake
I LOVE the original. it saddens me to hear such negative comments. I'll play the demo :P
there are 2 things that mad me mad. 1 is the took out one of my favorite stage inside the technodrome which would have been stage 4. The second is the narrator. i used to love the way they said the name off the stage. Now the way it is very meh at best. On the good note i did have alot of fun in the 4 player coop with friends of mine.
I got it, and beat it 4 times already. It only takes an hour to beat the game. They dumbed down the gameplay and made the levels REALLY short. It's nothing like the original.
BUT, I liked it nonetheless. All thanks to the survival mode. :)
I had a good time with this remake, but utterly disappointed in it also, the original SNES and Arcade versions are literally the best Turtles games ever made, but this remake took away from all that, for starters the updated graphics, control scheme, and gameplay just didn't do it for me, and didn't feel the same as the past versions.''Ubisoft, please consider a re-release or free patch to add the original versions of this game, I would have loved to play the SNES game remade or not.

People who say it's nothing like the original are blinded by nostalgia. The fact of the matter is, the game is pretty simple and didn't age as well as people thought. It's not bad at all, it's just average by today's standards.

That would be fun, imagine hunting down enemies while 50 cent's rapping next to you to keep you company and you could use him as a human shield, I mean look he's taken like 9 bullets and still alive :P
