VGA Cable Question???

I have a 22 inch insignia lcd hdtv which has input lag, and I was told to try VGA cables to reduce this input lag. So I was wondering, does the VGA cable support 1680x1050 resolution? That's why the TV is and I heard you have to match the native resolution exactly to get rid of the input lag.VGA Cable Question???
I just checked, it does.

edit: Are you sure that's your TV's native res? Most HDTV's are either 1280x720 or 1920x1080.VGA Cable Question???
My xbox is connected through VGA and yes 1680x1050 is a resolution you can play at.
