this is the only real reason i can see people spending money on thothing and stuff for their avatar. IF would definaly bring a lot of casual gamers just to chat. THere will also be potential more more money in addition to clothing, since its in 3d and you can walk around you can buy all sorts of things for your rom, it will be like the sims. The only way this would work is if it was somthing like the PS3's ''Home'' where you can walk around and talk with anyone on Xbox LIVE, and have special rooms dedicated to some of the games, so you can find people with the same tase in games as you allowing you to play with more than just the same three or four people every day, and also allowing you to watch movies together, something like that would be good, but if it was just a normal chat room just in 3D then i see no use for it.

Well MS needs to do something with this avatars cause right now they are just freaking useless. Big deal u can change there clothes, i mean they need to do what the ps3 let u walk around and talk to other people(which i thinku stated). Hell even the ps3 lets u play real games wit hyour avatar like bowling and others. It kills me know MS whats to charge us to buy new clothes thats bs if u ask me. You can use them in games like Kingdom for Kefflings, 1vs 100, and Scene it: BOS (those are top of my head, so there could be more). Later on, Guitar Hero 5 will have your avatars playing on stage.

They need better stuff on the 360 for the use of avatars. Btw GH 5 is going to suck big time crappy song list so there is something else that i wont be using my avatar for. They need better stuff u and everyone else knows it.

At one point when I wasn't sure to buy a 360 or PS3 I was thinking of getting a PS3 because of Home but they hyped nothing.
i would like something like this if it were set up like the old SaramNet AV Chat used to be...like upto 8 users per room, in squares, allowed to communicate over their VISION/NATAL Cam or have their avatar represent them.
We already have xbox live parties. Why do the chat rooms need to be 3d? It's not like it adds anything meaningful.
It would be best if they just scrapped the whole idea %26 focus on gaming instead.

yeah coz they dont focus at all on games, get a grip, avatars get used by most of the people who use xbox live, that shows there a decent edition.
