I'm getting Oblivion and it seems like a Hack n' Slash kind of game. Are there other forms of combat, such as magic or long-ranged weapons? I'm getting the game anyways (bundled with Bioshock) but I would like to know in advance. ThanksIs Oblivion a ''Hack N' Slash'' ...
When I was first buying oblivion I wasn't sure about it because I wanted it to have a ton of different combat styles, when I got it I was soooooo amazzzzzeeeeedddddinggggg. You can master magic, master bow and arrow, master mace, master swords, master hand to hand master master master, its so fun Im gonna look for the disc right now and play it!Is Oblivion a ''Hack N' Slash'' ...
No. An example of a hack and slash game is Dynasty Warriors.
No, just no.Oblivion is an amazing experience that you shouldn't miss out on.
Its far from a hack and slash. But you can use magic as a form of combat and also bow and arrow for ranged. Its a really well done rpg.
It's definitely not a hack n' slask game, but it is amazing.
heck, no. it's a great game that i would recommend, but the combat isn't very intense. Mostly just swigging ur sword slowly
magic and long range weapons exist as well
Crossbows dont exist though..its a shame :( (at least in the console version)

Only if you decide to just use swords, don't do anything but slash, and completelyignore leveling.
you dont HAVE to use a sword all the time, and it is most definatly NOT a hack n slash
