Depends on the price and games available at the time. I mean Microsoft said that the xbox 360 will have a lifespan of 10 years(2015). The 360 will still be supported when the new xbox arrives, this if the new xbox arrives during that time, somewhere between 2012 and 2015. too soon to say anything at all
It all depends on when the good games will be coming out on xbox 360. Typically, most games at launch for any console are usually poor. I would like to wait until I see something I really like for the system like a new Elder Scrolls game or a new Fable game for example.
I don't really know that I want to spend money on games like this forever. I will always play games butI don't think I will ever put this much money into gaming again.

I lovr my 360 so probobly like 1 year.
Hopefully we won't be seeing another Xbox for another few years, but when we do, this is the way I'll handle it: if it comes out in the first half of the year, buy it, if it comes out the second, ask for it for Christmas of birthday.
Until they stop making original 360 games. Or after I get bored with PC gaming... Which is never, so I will probably not buy it for a while because I'm sure there will be bad backwards compatibility again.
I hope I can buy it on day one. As soon as they make the announcement, I'll start saving so that I can preorder one.

Considering how many problems I've had with my 360, I'll probably consider picking up the competition instead.
If Sony makes it to another round I'll be going that way. I'd rather deal with a company that has quality products. Microsoft is a good company but everything they make has issues.
