is Live overrated?

i'm not sayin t is, but is the price justified? well, Sony is doin the same thing, even though it is not fully thought out. In the next couple of years, it will compete head first with LIve. just wnated to kno if Live is overrated. not a ps3 fanboy. just a gamer.is Live overrated?

come again did those words actually come out of your vocal cords. Of course its not over rated the ps3 is missing so much more compared to live. I do see the ps3 coming close but of course if they had the same features as live they would start charging.
i think it is a good price, have you seen the prices for mmorpgs nowadays?  
There are no good games right now, but when they do put out the good games, its worth it.
also, how did Micorsoft think of Xbox Live? its not like one Ken Kutagari told them to make a superior online service that would bite them in the a**. like the ps3.

Live is the best thing about Xbox's.
no.I think it's fairly cheap considering.You get free demos,easy to use interface, and the list goes on.
Right now its worth. Almost every game has multiplayer, lots of players ect. PS3 only has one online game. In a couple years XBL might change so we'll just have to wait and see. XBL is also going to get alot better once better games come out like halo 3.
No, its definetly not overated.
No, live is the best gaming service on the market, and I don't mind paying for greatness.

meh...I liked original live better. Sure, there are lots of cool new features and a nice interface. But half the time it takes me 3-4 tries just to log in, which I never had to put up with before on the first Xbox. Besides that, however, its nice.I still think its overpriced, but at least you get something of quality for your money.
overrated.  yes.  but well deserved only because it's the only decent online service out there.  and i know i'm gonna get slammed, but it's true. considering sony and nintendo are nowhere near this level, be happy.  i hate paying to play online, but $50 isn't much nowadays.  i just wish they would be more vigilant of cheaters.  they're the one's ruining a lot of gaming experience.  but so long as live is the only online service in town and they have no competition, they're just gonna keep taking everyone's money and laughing

Your game is designed from the get go to play online. You just have to pay extra to actually be able to do that. That's silly in my opinion. PC games have been online for free for YEARS.
