I know that you have to have some sort of transfer kit to transfer everything from one HDD to another, but here is my situation. My old Halo 3 xbox stopped working with it's measly 20GB HDD, so my friend bought me a new Elite. I still need to transfer everything from that 20GB HDD to my new 120 GB HDD, is it ok to go about recovering account and using my new HDD until I get a transfer kit? I mean will the transfer kit just add to the things I already have on this one, or will it completely overwrite everything? I just need to know because I want to be playing my new xbox until I get the transfer kit. Thanks in advance.HDD backup question.
