xbox live randomly disconnecting?

is anyone else getting kicked off xbox live? It's been doing this to me ever since I bought a gold membership a few days ago, I'll try to play Call of Duty 5 Co-op and it kicks me off after I'm playing for a little while and then I have to sign back inxbox live randomly disconnecting?

It's occured for me when there is a new version of the preview available. Other than that there is no problems for me...
All I have problems with constantly now is party chats. My friends mic's will cut out every 10 seconds it seems like. It's impossible to communicate.
