Disconnecting?

When i play xbox my connection always drops, and when i try to go on the internet and use live at the same time its terrible. When someone in my family tries to use the computer while i'm playing xbox we both get kicked off the internet. Im using a pretty cheap airlink wireless router. Is the router the problem? And our internet is not slow enough for this to happen.Disconnecting?
Either your ISP sucks or its your router like you said.
