I recently bought this game and loaded up the expanions from disc 2 like your supposed to. When i try to access the areas and quests from the expansion in the games they are not there. i do not have access to broadband where i live so i am not sure if i need an update from xbox live for the expansions to work properly. if someone could help me out that would be much appreciated.Question about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivio ...
The expansions get triggered the more you play and you will hear about a strange portal on an island early in the game. The GOTY edition should be the most up to date version. Question about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivio ...
Hmm, i have the GotY edition and have had no problems with doing the expantion quests, in-fact i have finished them all, im not really sure what is causing the problem, but sometimes it takes time for the quests to enter your quest log, and some times you need to find the area, such as the stone head in the middle of the large lake(can't remember the name) which houses the entrence to the Shivering Isles.
its called fort grief and i have been playing this character for 42 hours and still no rumors about the prophet and no portal

You should have received a message about a strange portal by now. Look at unfinished quests it should be near the top. It's called ''A door in Nibenay Bay''.

For PC I think it includes everything.

nope it didnt
The only thing i can suggest is that you try re-installing the files to your hard drive, because i got most of the quests added to my log once i escaped the Imperial Dungeon.
