Sorry to the half life fans but I like gears better
Gear's is way better, Half life is so overrated.
they are both great games but gears keeps me more occupied with its multiplayer but really you cant compare them because they are so different

Half-Life is way better in my opinion. Gordon Freeman FTW!
I like both of these series, but I like Half Life better. Half Life has a better atmosphere and story. I'll always take a good story over good multiplayer anyday.

Cant compare those two. Anyway, Gears since co-op and mp are important to me, and gore!

Half-life great story, cool enemies, awesome weapons, great atmosphere, and etc.
Both are grade-A series (or AAA for game grading terms) but Half-Life's enviroment is so awesome.
you cant compare them they are two diff types of game but i would chose gears MP over HL and HL single player over gears.

Gears was pretty revolutionary. One of the best TPS ever. The cover system. The story and graphics
